id_star
yes, you just can't have it turned on during take off and landing. You aren't even allowed the ear phones in. so just turn it off and put it in your pocket. once you have taken off, ask one of the attendants are electrical devises allowed yet and they will tell you either yes, or in 10 mins...

Yes.

Seduction
yes and hope no one jeopardizes that privilege

Matthew D
Electronic devices are not allowed during take-off and landing. their will be an announcement by the flight staff letting you know when you can turn them on.
One thing to note. If you have an iTouch, the staff may confuse it with the iPhone. Phones are not allowed to be on during any point of the flight unless they are in "flight mode" which turns off the antenna. If you have the touch and this comes up, just show them that it has no phone functions and is a music player only. That said you will have to disable the wi-fi function.

private_jet_charter
Yes you are allowed to bring an iPod with you on the aircraft, you are just not allowed to use them during takeoff and landings, but the flight attendants will inform you when it is OK to use electronic devices.
I never travel without mine.

soccerknocker199

Yes you can, but you need to turn it off if requested.

Have fun!

?
yes.

Sarie89079
Yes you can...as a matter of fact, I took my iPod nano on an airplane in August. They never told me to turn it off, but there's a point where all electrical devices are to be shut off for a short amount of time, and that's the only time I turned mine off. So I wouldn't worry about it!
