Can you take anti-depressants on flights?

I'm flying out to Austria next Saturday, skiing. I'm going with my dad who I don't live with, he's completely unaware that I'm on anti-depressants. I was wondering if you can take them in hand luggage or if I'd be stopped?

As long as you have a copy of the prescription with your tablets your absolutely fine, your GP with give you a copy of it without charge, good luck and have a great holiday.

No, it is perfectly ok to take prescription drugs with you. Depending on the airline, they might want to see a prescription though, so you'll need to check their website for specific details.

I'm sure you'll be fine, put some in hold baggage as well just in case you misplace the pack in your hand bag. Good luck and enjoy the skiing!

HeyLovelies
Yes of course you can! You wouldn't be stopped. lol. The only way they could stop you is if they thought you had a gun or weapon or something.

Brewsky
No problem if you have them in a see though bag and place them in a bin. That is in the US

Blur Crazy beat
You won't be stopped, but any one on anti-depressants should really consider cutting them out, it leads to murders suicides the lot.
