Yeah you can take baby food, Rice Cereal etc, I had mine in divided containers, however they dumped out my sterile water, which made for a HUGE scene at the screening area. BUT if you look at the website you CAN take water for mixing baby food and formula. Just make sure you print out a list of approved items to take with you because some screening agents still dont know the rules.
If you need to mix it at the airport bring the small bottles of sterile nursery water and try that. I tried the water from a coffee shop thinking it would be clean enough and I also tried bottle water to mix her formula and she projectile vomited on the plane and for 24 hrs after we landed. So, dont mix it until after you get to where you are going.
If you put it in a ziploc bag, just write on the bag "rice cereal" or whatever it is. Its no big deal. I just put mine in my checked bag, or you can always get it when you get to your destination, but they wont make a big deal about it. |

I'd play it safe and just take the little individual packets. They are sealed and labeled so there would be no question as to what it is. And like some others said they will give you water if you need to mix it while on the plane. |

Yes, and then you can ask the flight attendants for bottled water. Some planes can even heat it for you, or give you an extra cup w/hot water for to put the bottle in and then warm it that way. |

I believe airplanes do make a baby food exception to the no liquid rule. Contact your airline for details. |
