Yes. But remember fluids over 500ml (approximately 17.5 fluid oz) aren't allowed in your hand-luggage - OK in your main luggage though.
You can always eat before you get on. You aren't going to starve in 4 hours for gawd sakes ;o) |

Yes, you can - but you can't take drinks in through security. Actually - it's not too expensive to buy something from boots when you get through security, and it'll save you the bother of hanging around for ages with smelly tuna sarnies in your bag. The flight won't be too long, wherever you're going, so you wont starve if you just get a coke and some crisps from boots or whatever, have a great holiday and don;t forget to try something exotic! :) |

Absolutely! My daughter is an incredibly fussy eater and I always bring food for her to eat on the plane. As long as you buy the stuff once you're through security, no-one is going to check what you take on the plane itself. You can buy drinks, sandwiches etc. once you're through security to have on the plane |

Yes, you may take food on the plane. Just be sure that you do not bring any liquids on along with the food. |

Put it in your carry on. Don't take anything to drink--if the container is more than 3 oz it will be confiscated. Don't take anything smelly or mushy. Take it out of your carry-on before you settle down--if the "fasten safety belts" signs comes on you will not be able to reach your food, and anyway fussing with carry-on is inconsiderate of other passengers.
Why don't you just eat before you leave home, or get a bite at the airport before you go through security? |

Usually, but only if it is purchased on the secure side of the checkpoint. Check with your airline to be sure. |
