Either way all your crap is going to be checked. You are allowed 2 carryon's... this applies to everyone, and you dont get special treatment because you have a child. Bring the car seat, make sure its FAA approved. Put the kid in that, and strap him/her in. If the child is going to be a lap child, then you can bring your stroller in with you, and wheel it down to the airplane, however they will check it at the gate for you. They will put a tag on it that tells the groundcrew to unload it first, and bring it up to the jet way, that way you have it at your destination as soon as you deplane. If you have a diaper bag, thats one of your carry ons. IE, you are allowed one more. So, it seems that youll be checking some baggage anyway.

Unless the infant has a ticket, he/she is not permitted any carry-on bags. You can have the diaperbag and another carry-on, such as your purse, but that's it. And you can always gate check a stroller.

If the baby has a ticket then the allowance is the same as an adult.

Your stroller will be 'gate checked' that means it will go through security with you, but you will leave it on the jet bridge. You will then pick it up on the jet bridge as soon as you get off the plane (you will have it for any layovers) It will be in the baggage compartment through the flight since it won't fit on the plane. You can also carry on a diaper bag.

Unless you are buying a second seat for the baby, you will be allowed two pieces of carry on such as a purse & a diaper bag, w/in the size limitations imposed by the airline. The stroller will have to be put in cargo by the crew at the gate.

i know they will let u take the diaper bag but normally they take the stroller once u r on the plain

With most airlines you are alowed one carry one and one personal item. The diaper bag is more than likely only a personal bag but the stroller will probably have to be taged. You should call the airline you are using; because they all have differnt codes and such. I am pretty sure that w/ the FAA the stroller will have to be put in the storage w/other luggage.

Take the diaper bag with you and a small purse or put your stuff in the diaper bag.
I think they take the stroller and put it upfront for you. Call the carrier and ask ahead of time.

Infants not occupying a seat are allowed one piece of checked baggage up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs) with an overall measurement of no more than 115 cm (45 in).

the following pieces of baby equipment in the baggage compartment, free of charge: car seat, baby seat and stroller

P.S Dont gate check your stroller you will lose it.............

If you are traveling international, it's not the same, this is for the airline I work for, you should really call the airline you are flying with, but just to give you an example......

Take this advice and do not subject the other passengers on the plane with your baby. A diaper bag is just what the other passengers really want stowed next to them. Stay home.
