I know how you feel because I use to have the same problem but after flying so much and checking into the odds I found something that made me feel better.
You would have to fly everyday for the next 26,000 years to be on a plane that had an accident. Even then there is a 74% chance you would survive it.
So the odds are very small against you being involved in an air line accident. The old saying is true. The most dangerous part of air line travel is the drive to and from the airport.

Miniscule. The chances of you being in an accident in your car on the way to the airport are MUCH higher than any chance of a mishap on the airplane.

You've got a better chance of getting struck by lightning than of being in a plane crash.

Dont' worry. If you are worry, take sleeping pill before plane takes off. When your time comes, it will. It doesn't matter where you are. Be strong and enjoy your fly.

there is more of a chance of something happening on the way to the airport. just relax, enjoy it and it will be over before you know it. Happy new year.

A hull loss is an accident in which the aircraft cannot be repaired. The odds are very much in your favor.

Here's another one for you. In the year 2000, five times more people died in car accidents in the US than died in commercial plane accidents everywhere in the world. Be careful on the drive to the airport. It really is the most dangerous part of your trip.

In other words, just relax and have fun.

Flying is the safest form of travel. It is true that airplanes have accidents, but these are very few. These accidents are handled so differently in the media that it just seems like airlines crash all the time. If the news broadcast every single car accident in the US everyday, there would be nothing else on the news, ever. Most, if not all, airline accidents do get broadcast because they are much more ''news worthy.'' They are more sensational.
I used to have a fear of flying but I got over it. Don't worry about it, everything will work out fine.
When it all comes down to it, flying is the safest and best way to travel.
