Sidestep.com will search multiple travel sites at the same time.
Also, if you search on Ebay you can often find discount coupons for Northwest travel. You can generally get them from anywhere from 10-30 bucks, and they are worth at least 50 dollars depending on the flight cost, maybe more. |

I think any flight for that price, close to Christmas is going to be about as good as it gets. Did you try other airlines websites? |
|

Why ask me?
 |
Good luck! Gas prices ave jacked up airline tickets there is no such thing as a cheap airline ticket. |

Spirit airlines are pretty cheap and they are half way decent.
Where are you flying from and to. That effects your price. |

well if you pick thursdays or tuesdays (to fly in and out)..flights
become cheaper. but as a holiday...thats going to
be hard to find one cheaper than that. |

Depends on where your going.
Best I have found is "KAYAK.COM"
Kayak is a search engine that searches all the search engines and airline sites. They also have a function that lets you change your flight info by a few days earlier or later which often saves you LOTS of $$$$. |

I'm still a fan of jetblue. I find that they always have the cheapest fairs. www.jetblue.com. Oh, and try booking directly on xmas day, it's usually cheaper than the surrounding days. |

southwest is cheaper than most. prices go by how soon you need the tickets. the sooner you need them the more they cost. it also matters when you are flying. i believe the middle of the week is the cheapest as most people travel on weekends. :) |

tips;
a- use alternate airports (i.e. for NYC, EWR/Newark, LGA/La Guardia, JFK/Kennedy)
b- use flexible dates (+/ 1, 2, 3 days) |

I live in Alaska and I have found that the best deals are always through a travel agent. Often the cheapest tickets you can buy on line have all kinds of restrictions. |
