Your best bet is to fly from Bristol to Malaga with Easyjet, on Monday the 20th July. If you were to return on Monday, 27th or Tuesday, 28th July, the cost of a return flight would be £128.88p. This includes all taxes, charges and 1 piece of hold luggage up to 20kgs.
For the two of you, therefore, you are looking at £257.76p. These prices increase as the flights go into the school summer holidays.

For your information neither Monarch or Ryanair operate a service from your choice of airports to Malaga.

Try jet2.com.

Fishtalk
Try EasyJet, they are very reliable and if you book and pay now it should be really cheap. They fly out of lots of places in GB and I'm sure but not certain they fly to Malaga

Check out -
"MyTravelmarket.com " a very good comparison website

Away With The Fairies
We need to know where you're wanting to fly from - if you're going from a regional airport, rather than a London airport, it will cost you more. Flybe are a long way from a low cost airline - despite their advertising!

If you can go from one of the London airports, the following airlines fly the route direst - check out their websites for the lowest fares:

Aer Lingus
British Airways
Easyjet
Monarch Airlines
Ryanair
Thomsonfly

Cheapest is Monarch if you book early. It normally costs me around £85--100. Its best to travel mid-week if you can.Thats flying from Manchester.

I am going to give you the only piece of advice that was given to me for finding cheap travel deals, and it works to this day... Compare as many travel websites as you can as often as you can. Since you have a few months, start searching today and search the flights or hotels or whatever you need every week until the month before you are going. If anything is unusually cheaper, book it on that date. I would definitely recommend checking out the website BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites from one location, and save tons of money. Good luck and check out the link below, and you will be all set.

Just remember that fares are subjected to change and that I'm looking at flight for only per person so that you can determine which is suitable for you and your boyfriend.

Monarch Airlines: http://flights.monarch.co.uk/

Flies out of Manchester to Malaga one way on July 20th as the cheapest I could find is £62.49 (flight ZB 660 - departing MAN at 15:25 to arrive in Malaga at 19:25. It shows a flight sale right now.

EasyJet: http://easyjet.com/en/book/index.asp

Bristol (BRS) to (Malaga (AGP) appears to be more.

dep. 07:00, arr. 10:35 - £85.99
dep. 19:30, arr. 23:05 - £80.99

RyanAir: http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/

Not sure if Edinburgh (EDI) is convient or if you're willing to go there but it goes to Malaga (AGP). But it's not showing up anything.

Thomson: http://flights.thomson.co.uk/en/index.html

To save you time, it does not fly out on 20th of that month.

Jet2: http://www.jet2.com/

Departs Manchester (Terminal 1) at 15:20 arriving at 19:15 and the base fare it shows is £69.99 and taxes totalling £97.99.

FirstChoice: http://flights.firstchoice.co.uk/

There's BRS to AGP and MAN to AGP but nothing on the 20th.

Aer Lingus and BA (British Airways) do not fly from southwest England to Malaga. Only BA shows London goes there. SpanAir and SkyEurope show nothing.

Just make sure what the airport code is when it says Malaga because some airports are not the main ones that some airlines fly to.

You could also try ebookers: http://www.ebookers.com/

Hope this helps.
