Cheap online airfare? |
I'm trying to fly my best friend into town for my wedding (she's my maid of honor) and she can't afford the ticket, so I have to pay. She wouldn't be leaving until July 26th (flexible) and coming back July 30th (flexible). The cheapest I've found is $372. I've tried orbitz, expedia, kayak, cheaptickets, cheapoair, etc etc... Please help! I don't exactly have a lot of money because I'm paying for a lot of my wedding...it's so stressful! Also, she's a college student, so I think she can get discounts on some stuff. Any info is VERY VERY appreciated!

Very tough and you have no options from either airport. $372 is a good price based on my searches. Another option is if you know a friend who has some Frequent Flyer miles that you could use. You could offer him/her aorund $200 to book the flight using their miles. Many people don't use them, just ask anyone who travels for business, relatives. Someone may be able to help. You must hurry if you use miles they are hard to use once you are under one month. |

Have you tried Southwest Airlines on-line. I fly from Birmingham AL to Sacramento CA several times a year...last trip in January and usually pay less than $250 round trip. Congratulations on your up coming wedding! |

how about changing the airports? Usually there is an airport that is not too far away that in some cases can cut the price in half! try the airports around those locations and just drive a little further..thats the least she can do for you if your paying for it... good luck! congratulations! |
