If your skirt doesn't ride up to show your "stuff" then it would be fine.

The crew has the option to tell you to cover up (and they do). Or they can ask you to leave.
If you think your skirt is too short.. then it is.

Crew also can ask you to leave for too much cleavage.

Quite frankly.. a miniskirt is very uncomfortable when flying.
Why would you choose it?? Why risk getting asked to leave?

For those of you who answered WRONGLY.. there have been cases recently where people have been asked to cover up.. when refused.. they were kicked off the plane.

Dress code cannot be deemed offensive.. or you OUT.

Avoid Southwest airlines, and you should be okay. That airline has a reputation for intolerance when it comes to clothing, even though its own flight attendants used to dress like streetwalkers in the early days of the airline. Times change.

oo I wouldn't take your chances on southwest. They have had multiple cases where they got mad at people for wearing "inappropriate" clothing. You should wear pants or something, because those planes get really COLD.

If the miniskirt is so short that when you bend over people can see your butt then you will get frowned at. But anything that is normal, say up to 8" above the knee, no problem.

Mini skirts are definitely cleared for take off. What happened with Southwest Airlines was an isolated incident. I say, if you pay that much for a seat, you should look great and feel great about it. Wear you mini and have fun girl!

In all my years I never denied boarding to a gal with a mini skirt. However, times have changed the airline industry, and most aircraft no longer have blankets on board. The few gals that I have talked to who wore mini skirts all told me that they should have worn slacks, as their legs got cold and no blankets were available.

If you get cold wearing a mini skirt when it is less than 60 degrees, I suggest that you wear slacks, as the air in an airliner is very dry and sometimes feels like it is 40 degrees.
