No, not dangerous.

Enjoy your visit to France.

Don't base your life off of "what-ifs." Don't cancel the trip, and don't be afraid of flying.

There are terrorists out there, yes. Will they attack? Probably not. In other words: calm down, stop worrying about things you can't control, and fly to France in a few months.

You'll be fine.

I am flying to France tomorrow (actually to Africa but with layover in Paris) with my young child. France is not as politically vulnerable to terrorist attention as US or UK, so personally I am not too concerned. Also taking AirFrance rather than an american airline, and leaving the US is probably a better risk than coming back.

No......it is completely safe. What is bad news for most other traveler is good news for you and me.More vacant seating on flights and more vacancies in hotels accommodation.

Chri R
I don't think there is any reason to be scared, its still saver than driving a car, and because of this panic its even more safer now.
Don't forget you are being feed with fear because its good to get the votes in the election.
Be a little realistic and put thing in the right perspective.

Uncle John
I think it's more dangerous to fly now, to or from London, than to France. But whenever you go, get to the air port early, and be sure your tooth paste, and other essentials are in your suit case, not your carry on.

u should not miss the trip, go and experience the country

Iam glad it is you and not me I donot fly and to no forign country.

?
Vivre est de risquer la mort - to live is to risk dying. Get on the plane and don't give terror, terrorism, or terrorists a second thought. Fear is what they thrive on, so choke off their fear and they have nothing on us.

Melissa F
No, things should somewhat calm down by then. I wouldn't be too worried. Besides, terrorists want to blow up the US and uses planes coming here, not leaving the country.

As the saying goes...better out than in....

curious cook
Absolutely not. Perhaps this is the safest time to fly because of all the extra precautions that are being taken. Be prepared to spend more time waiting to clear security in the airports on either side of the Atlantic. Have a good trip! Bon voyage.

don't ask me i don't like flying

Dangerous? Is there anything in life that is not dangerous? Its what degree of danger, you are willing to take, to go to France. I agree, the news today woke alot of people up here in the USA, again. I can't believe some people got complacent. If its your time to go, its your time. It is what it is. However, you will never live if you hide in fear. Live a little. Go to France. They love us Americans there. If not, we love to bug them....Have a safe trip...
