You set your clock in Texas the same as you would if you were in any other state that has daylight savings time, one hour back. You will probably have to push a button or wind a dial, it really depends on the clock. Unless you Texans have extra special clocks. Or you could set it forward by 11 hours or 23 if you are using a 24 hour clock.... of course then it might end up being tomorrow, but I digress. Watch TV they ALWAYS remind you about daylight savings time. Oh, and it's this weekend, Sun at 2 a.m. |

Here is how you remember if you gain or lose and hour. It is spring ahead and fall behind. In other words you turn you clocks ahead in the spring so you gain an hour. In the fall you turn you clocks back and lose and hour. And by the way you do it tomorrow before you go to bed. |

It's November 4th. You gain an hour of sleep, because you set the clock back. |

Saturday night, Sunday morning. Like 2 am I believe. You gain an hour of sleep Spring ahead; Fall back. So if it is 5 now, then it is going to be 4 now. |

You will turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday. If it is 2:00, you will change it to 1:00. In this case you gain an hour. This daylight savings time is confusing and in my opinion should be discontinued. |
