Only if it is over the weight limit. |

No, most airlines have policies that allow two bags less than 50 lbs a piece. If you take a carry on, sometimes they will check those at the door of the plane if there is not enough room on the flight. They charge extra only if you have more than 2 bags, or they weigh more than 50 lbs a piece.
Hope this helps! |

Every airline has other regulations.
For example withing Europe you have 20 kilos of free luggage.
For a trans-atlantic flight you can have 20 bags 23 kilos each.
If you have more luggage you have to pay for it. |

No unless..... it weighs over 50#, is oversize such as skis or golf clubs, etc. You are allowed two checked bags under 50# each and a carry on as well as 1 small personal item, ie: laptop. Remember not to pack any liquids in your carry on. Having flow quite a bit over the holidays, my advice is to show up 2 hours early like the airlines suggest, pack smart, and check as much baggage as you need. They are quite competent at loading and routing luggage when it isn't last minute.... another option is to check you larger bag at the gate, which requires a special claim check available right before boarding, but who wants to carry all their stuff around while traveling?! Hope this helps and travel safe. |

Airlines allow you at least one bag (under 50 pounds).
Check with your airline for specifics. |

On most airlines, you are allowed two checked bags at 50 lbs or less each. Overweight bags are charged extra, and you can also check additional bags for a fee. |

Only if your baggage is too heavy or if it is in a shape that doesn't meet guidelines. For example: something 10' by 10' would cost more. |

No you don't have to pay extra to check in a baggage except if you are checking in more than two baggages but it depends on the airline. Call the airline before you travel and find out their policy in regards to the weight and the number of Baggages allowed. Have a happy New Year. |
