You do not need a passport to travel legally within the UK as there are no immigration checks once you are inside the UK. You do, however, need identification to board the flight. Speak to your airline as to what identification they will accept. |

No of course not. You don't need it for the Isle of Wight either. You will need some form of photo id, though. |

If you are a British Citizen and resident int he U.K.you don't need a passport to enter scotland or any other country of the United Kingdom. You don't even need one for the Republic of Ireland. HOWEVER! Under new regulations, if flying you are required to produce a valid passport to be allowed on the plane. You will be turned away without one! |

If you're picking your tickets up at the airport, or you have an e-ticket, you will need your passport.
This is true even if you are not going to another country. |

You do not state your nationality, but UK citizens do not need to carry a passport with them whilst in the UK, although it can be helpful to use it as a means of identity in common situations. Alternatively, a full driving licence can serve this purpose.
Does your aircarrier make any stipulations about suitable means of identity? |

Stop wasting our time with your stupid & racist questions. Scotland is still part of the UK, of course you don't need a passport.
Mind you, if you were coming from Birmingham, Alabama..... |

I don't think you do. It's classed as a domestic flight. Unless you are flying overseas you don't need a passport. But to put your mind at rest, contact the airline company and double check with them! |
