Do airliners really have 'romper rooms' for pilots & flight attendants?

I've heard that commercial airliners have a special room for pilots & flight attendants to 'get busy' away from passengers called the 'romper room'.

I don't know that they're "getting busy" when they're in there, but yes they do have rest areas for flight attendants and flight crew on most larger airplanes. Here's what one looks like on a Boeing 777:

That would be a sexual harassment suit waiting to happen.

Someone has either been watching too many movies or telling you things that just aren't true.

Any form of sexual conduct on a plane is not permitted at all and there can be legalities as consequences here.

The term "ROMPER ROOM" was first heard on tonight's episode of CSI: MIAMI, entitled "Flight Risk". Obviously these rooms do exist based on the picture a few posts back.

This special cabins are to rest a little on long flights and are not called romper rooms.
If someone might have used it for something else, who knows. And if someone actually put a special name to the room, who knows.

I beg your pardon? As a pilot, I go out of my way to avoid flight attendants as much as possible. I hear enough bickering, whining, complaining, gossiping, etc. during the flight from these glorified waitresses. Why in the heck would I want to hang out with them in my off time or between flights?

Flush out your headgear, new guy.

God Bless you-
