Yes. But you can check w/ your airline... sometimes they will make an exception if you need one...or they will tell you how much they will charge if you need to check extra baggage...
Need to know the name of the airline to know the answer for this for sure. You can go to the airlines website and look up this information that you need. |

Car seats do not if you carry them with you on the flight and use them for your child, which is recomended by all airlines and the American Pediatrics Association.

Hi, whenver we fly with our 2 year old, we check out pack and play and carset which count toward your limit, but then we keep her in the stroller to the gate and they check that with no other limit clause. Good luck! |

With the exception of wheelchairs and/or other disability things, any item that is bagged and/or tagged by the ticket agent will count towards your baggage allowance. The pack and play will not fit in the stowage area of the cabin of the plane, therefore, you should not expect to take it as a carry on-or free of charge. The car seat "can" be taken onboard with you free of charge IF there is an open seat on the plane and your child may be able to sit in the car seat/in a seat during the flight. If, however, the flight is full, and you have carried the car seat to the boarding area, you will have to "gate check" it and pick it up at your destination. |

Use the carseat on the airplane & check the pack n play as baggage. I don't care if kids fly free in your lap. That's like putting two kids in one seatbelt in the car. Pay for the extra ticket & put them on the seat next to you. |
