A passport is not required providing you have another form of identification such as a driving licence.Whatever form of identification you use,it must be accompanied by a photograph.

No passport if you are flying from one british airport to another except if you fly Easyjet. They ask for a passport as ID before you get on a flight (or at least they used to).

No of course you do not. The UK consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and you do not need a passport to go to any of them.

Just for id, but you will have to change your english money to royal bank of scotland notes, we dont take inferior currency up here

No. But you will need some form of photo id such as a passport or driving license. An employment id or bus pass won't do.

you do not need a passport to fly within the UK, photo ID might be required for security reasons by the airline.

Either a passport or driving licence. Must be valid photo ID. If you don't drive either, contact the airline you are flying with and ask them what ID they will accept.

My mum got checked when flying to Scotland. For some reason you don't need them to drive into Scotland or go via train, but they do check on planes?
