Every answer that has told you that you need an ID to fly is absolutely wrong. The TSA does not require passengers under the age of 18 to present identification in order to fly. |

Technically you don't need ID to travel within the states, but... and this is a big but, you will get the most thurough exam of your life if you don't have some sort of state issued ID. |

Why not just call JetBlue and ask them what is acceptable ID? Better to find out for sure now instead of showing up there with insufficient ID and not get to go! |

If you are traveling without an adult, any ID you have, even a school ID, will be helpful, but it's not required. |

it is always smart to have a state ID but since on such sort time you cant really get your state ID with in a week so just bring your school ID and dont worry about it if they ask just explain and they should just let you go |

your school id may not work for fights....
but u can always check with Jet blue...
also, its advisable to have a state id, if u are traveling out of state.... its safe .... in case of emergencies.... |

Yes you do. Also, it's always a good idea to carry some form of id on you because you never know what is going to happen. Actually in the state of Georgia, its illegal not to carry some form of ID. Dont know the law in NY cause I haven't been there in 13 years of my 23 year old life. Carry it just incase. |
