No, flights within the UK do not require a passport. It may be a requirement from the carrier (i.e. airline) that you have to have some form of legal/official photographic identification before you can board (such as a passport or full drivers license) but a passport itself is not implicitly required to travel within a single country.

The answer is usually no. I fly most weeks up and down the country. However, some airlines ask for photo ID such as driving licence etc.

Not necessarily a passport - but you will DEFINITELY need photo id, so if you don't have a passport you'll need a driving licence or equivalent. Enjoy your flight!

If you have one, then take it as you will find it much easier. You will at the least need some photo ID with correct address.

Technically you do not need a passport. You will require govt issued photographic ID for all airlines on internal/domestic flights. This is usually a passport or photo card drivers licence. Check with the airline you are flying with what ID they will accept.

No you dont need a passport but you do need photographic ID. A driving license would suffice but you need the paper and card parts. I always use my passport as i know that will be acceptable ID

It varies depending on which airline you fly with. I have always had to produce mine even though their web site says they only need a form of photographic ID. I had a friend phone and check prior to flying and be told her driving license would do only to be refused through without a passport when she got to the airport.
