yeah, just think and feel like it's a vehicle.

My best friend is afraid of heights and was, until very recently, terrified of roller coasters. He freaked out on Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland and that only has 2 small drops at the very beginning of the ride. I asked him how he could be a FLIGHT ATTENDANT with these fears and he couldn't explain it.

I am terriable with heights my head goes completly and I get dizzy and panic and cannot move, but when I fly I am 100% fine, I think it is because you are inclosed and cannot fall.

I have a fear of heights, I can't even stand on a chair without feeling dizzy.

I have only flown once from Liverpool to the Isle of Man, guess what, the doctor provided me with medication. Also I'm claustrophobic and agoraphobic. Life is Brill.

I can't stand anything above 30ft but I'll happily look out of a plane at 30000 ft and it doesn't bother me at all , how that happens i don't have a clue.

I am petrified of heights and would not get on a plane until 2 years ago for that very reason, what a waste its been for me as it hasn't bothered me once since I got brave and decided to go for it, now I'm making up for lost time thankfully.

I have got a fear of heights. I get guidy on the first step of the ladder. I absolutely hate flying, although because I live in Spain and often go back to the U.K. I am kind of getting used to it.

I can't bear to get on a ladder to change a lightbulb, but stick me in a tin box 32000 feet in the air and i'm like a kid in a candy store!

There is nothing to "manage". In an airplane you don't suffer from high-shyness because your eye and brain has no fixed points to relate to.

That's the explanation of scientists. All I know is that I am high-shy but don't have the slightest problem flying.

Yes. There's quite a difference from looking over the top of a tall building to being in a plane. I suppose in the plane it gives the illusion that you are safe inside. Don't know.
