I've never been afraid of flying. If you look at the statistics of how many flights there are just in this country in a single year and compare it to the number of planes that actually crash, it's pretty clear that flying isn't a dangerous mode of transportion. (Unless you eat the in-flight meals. Eegads. Those things are awful!) |

I believe that public transportation is apart of life and it is something that has to be done unless you plan to stay local for the rest of your life. |

I'm scared too death of flying. But if God says it's "your time," than it is. Just live life like you have nothing to lose. Live as if you were told you wouldn't wake up tomorrow. |

For me personally yes...It has to do with my paranoia and the feeling that everytime i go on the plane it will crash with me in it...But I guess i have 2 get over it sooner or later. |

i just flew to denver at christmas time, the day before there had been a Continental crash no one was hurt..but still, and we had some turbulence which scared the crud right out of me, so yes, i am now afraid to fly, and it doesn't help with the flight back east either er.. |

well francly, i don't think theres any problems with flying on planes that havn't been in the news for crashing.
i don't have a fear of flying on planes, i've been on a plane 9 times.
the only thing on a plane that i'm scared of, is flushing the toilets :D
so i try to hold it until we land. |

nope, it's never bothered me. even the second time i flew when a duck flew into the left engine during takeoff from Germany. it's still safer than you would be in a car |

It is the safest way to travel, it doesn't seem to be because there are so many killed in a crash. |

I love flying and everything about it!! take off and landings are the most fun!! I've flown close to 100 times and it never gets boring, except the 12 hour nonstop flights lol.
I like to look out the window, watch the flaps on the wings during takeoff/landing argh!! i wanna fly again. |

Flying is actually the safest way to travel. I'm perfectly fine with flying. I've flown around a dozen times before. |

more likely to crash in a car actually.... I have a prob with heights but Im fine in a plane, sometimes a little motion sickness or whatever, but thats from the turbulence |

I do get nervous but I will fly. The last time I flew my husband and I got seats several rows from each other. It was quite bumpy at the beginning and I think the woman beside me thought I was going to lose it. Once it was smooth I was fine. I absolutely hate take off....I don't know why.
You're more apt to get in a car accident than a plane crash . I would love to take a flight to Florida or a nice exotic Island right now....but....no money! |

I've never flown and scared way too bad of it. I'm not scared of crashing though. My fear is just not being in control...being stuck in that small plane for hours. It's a mind thing. But yeah they say riding in a car is way more dangerous than flying....well at least that more people die from that. |

I'm just kinda like... yea whatever. I try not to really think about it and i'm fine. If i really thought about it it wouldn't work oto well. I don't really like it, but it's very safe. |
