Do you have to have perfect eyesight to become a pilot?
I would like to do flying lessons in the near future but I have not so great eyesight. I'm fine if I have glasses on but i'm worried this will stop me learning to fly. and some information websites. thanks.
i think you need 20:20 vision and can not be colour blind.

you do need colour vision but you can have glasses i'm not sure how much far the limit is but colour vision is a definite

You may fly privately with sight correction, BUT commercial airlines and the RAF will not accept you.

i used to think that u need 6/6 eyesight. but my bro-in-law is short-sighted and after training, he is now a pilot of SIA.
so i think with glasses and ability to read 6/6, that means u've passed the requirement.
