Yes you do so it is better to wear shoes or sandals that can be slipped on & off very easily........ you have to place your shoes on the scanner along with hand luggage, jackets etc.! |

99.999% of the time yes. To save time wear loafers, or other shoes that can be taken off & put on quickly so you won't hold up the security line. Also, it's probably a good idea to wear socks. No telling what kind of cooties are lurking on the floor of the airport terminal. |

Technically speaking, you do not the first time. If the magnetometer alarms you are then required to remove them or by subjected to secondary screening. However, I don't think you'll find a TSA agent in most airports who is aware of this rule. They all want them off. Also, don't try to argue about it with them. |

Yes you do. Recommend wearing flip flops or other shoes that can be easily slipped on and off. This helps save time in those lines! |
