I love it. I first flew as a two year old, and several times each year for the next decade. Since then it has been less frequent, but the whole process excites me. I don't even mind queuing in the airports, as I always find exciting stuff to look at, even if it is just watching others go about their business in their own way.

I love the window, it is second only to being in the cockpit itself, which of course is no longer possible as it was when I was a child. I spent many an hour on the spare seat behind the Captain flying across deserts, oceans, cities, and gazing ahead and down to see what was next.

The thrill of the take off- the roaring and the immense power to become airborne still puts a small flutter of excitement into my stomach. I don't much like the food and cramped conditions on the budget airlines, and am disappointed I cannot smoke anymore, but they are minor details. The idea of starting in the UK and within hours I am halway across the world looking forward to new adventures is something wondrous, and makes me wide eyed and child like.

I have also had the privilege of flying in all manner of craft- gliders, helicopters, small two/ four seaters, right up to DC10 and 747 jumbos. Never managed Concorde, but would like to see the new double decker Airbus. I have talked down a Hawk trainer jet (mock- on school trip), spent time in a control tower, and am still fascinated by it all. I'd love to go to space one day, and also to learn to fly.

Anyway, hope that helps you! Take care.

Yes I love travelling on planes, as it usually means I am going on holiday which I love doing. I love taking off and landing. The actual flying can be boring unless I have a really good book to read, as the films are often not very good or I usually end up being in a seat where I have to strain my neck to see the screen, so just give up on watching it.

Isn't it funny how we say travel ON a plane,, if you were on it rather than in it it wouldn't be much fun, imagine the havoc with the in flight service... This doesn't answer your question...

Very happily married.
I like it all, flying gives you a new perspective on the world below.

Yes I like it - well as long as you are flying with a good airline anyways. The airline makes a huge difference.

Don't usually look out the window too much because I'm tall so I always try for an aisle seat :)

I love traveling on planes =)
I'm not sure why,
but to the point where I think it would be cool to be a fly attendant for a little while.

haggerpotter
i hate it, generally will try to sit in the aisle, but will do it so that i can go to new, far away places :-)

Hey!

No I don't like travelling on planes, but hey, guess we have to so we can get to our destination!

I love looking out the window, if there's a decent view!

But what I love the most is going on holiday!

:]
