i work in an airport, on check in so i know the rules.
For domestic flights within the UK you just need photographic ID, such as drivers license or even bus pass. You can even use an out of date passport.

I am sure you will be asked to provide it. It is to do with the anti-terrorist regulations. Don't presume that you won't need a passport, you could well be turned away! |

From Manchester to Scotland you need a passport and you still have luggage limits and no more than 100ml liquid. Same rules apply |
