Only if you're planning a stop-over in New York on the way

prettywoman
Just for ID purposes but anything with your pic on will do.ie.Your drivers license!!

Bluebird

no but you do have to have acceptable photo id

Penfold

No, you will only need identification to prove you are the person named on the ticket. Most airlines ask for photo id.

You need a photo ID such as passport or photocard driving licence even though flying within the UK. This has been shown on TV many times in programmes such as Airline with Easyjet.

clever investor
No, but you will need ID for airport security.

essdee
Passport or driving license with your photo on it... choices, choices!

Hi Hev,
Maybe it would be a good idea to check your travel itinerary and check out the small print so you can see at a glance what ID etc the airline requires. If still in doubt contact the airline via the number on your tickets and check with them, 99% of the time on domestic flights u DONT need a passport but best to check as it is better safe then sorry

You do not need a passport for a domestic flight, but airlines can demand specific ID for your flight, with a passport being acceptable amongst other forms of ID, e.g. Driving Licence etc
