Only if they are also delayed with their landing slot.
Otherwise allow at least an hour for transfers. More if you have baggage to reclaim and rebook. |

if that is what they publish, it must be a legal connection! I am sure Doha is not a very big airport, so can't take that much time to get from one gate to the next. I wouldn't have a problem with taking this flight--if a lot of pax connecting ex your flight and it's late, they may well delay the onward flight--and if you miss your connection anyway, it's up to QR to fix new arrangements for you! |

If it's on the same airline, they often do wait for connecting passengers. On a flight like the one talking about there will most likely be many passengers connecting to the same flight and many airlines will have personnel waiting for you with a sign when you disembark your first flight and direct you to your connection. Qatar is a very good airline with 5-star service, I've had many international connections with layovers as short as yours and have never missed a connection. If you're 1st flight is late and you do miss your connection, Qatar will do it's best to get you on the next flight and will most likely pay for a hotel if you have to wait until the next day. Good luck. |

funny that, I'm often grounded waiting for some connecting flight to catch up with us...but if it were me who needed the courtesy, I'm sure they not give it. "Got a schedule to keep mate..." I'm sure that's what I'd hear. |

I would NOT risk such a short transfer as it is too short a time
for luggage transfer and check in. Your ongoing flight would not wait for you as take-off slots would be missed and cause long delays for all the other passengers. |

No they don't. |

No not really. The only time I have seen a flight wait was when a flight that was late had more then 50% of the connecting flights passangers on it, then they waited. A flight will not wait for only one person or just a few people. |

know i dont think so... if u want to get the flight u must the one who adjust ur time.... its better to come early at the deprtures know y?
1.u can check in ur things early
2. theres no lots of poeple in that time theres no traffic of chking ur things
3. u can select where u which set u want f near in window or not
so better early than late |

I wouldn't do it, because with a cheap fare, you are likley getting a low class ticket, and unless you are a high status passenger, or there are many of you connecting, they won't wait if you're late! |

Flights don't wait otherwise they won't be on time for other flights. They have a schedule they need to keep and if they don't there are many upset customers they need to deal with. |

hah probably not. dont bet on it. but... well sometimes you get lucky see what kind of airplane you're riding on if it's big then it might take a while for all the people to get on.. but to be safe dont bet on it. a waste of money if you miss it. |

I've actually made that connection in Doha, I had a 35mins connection from LHR to BKK.
As long as the flight is not very late then Qatar will wait for you. Doha airport is about 10 mins from getting off 1st flight, then through security, then onto 2nd flight.
Qatar have quite a good record.
They offer it as a connection so go for it. |

Wouldn't bet on it....and with International flights? Forget about it |

It depends really. If they have had enough prior notice, some airlines do wait. Also, it depends on how filled up the flight is. If its a relatively empty flight, theyre more likely to wait for you too |

Dont do it. Im a pilot for Virgin and I can tell you right now that the ticket is scarey!. Who can check-in and clear immigration in 40mins? I doubt that they will even push the aircraft into a bay. Do ask a travel agent because if it says CONNECTING then it will connect. Its not often heard of |
