As a side note, check out some airline's websites to see if they have an online check in option-that way you can make sure you have seats that are ok and possibly change them, used it once and saved a lot of time at the airport. |

No, I prefer to do curbside check in.
I always have luggage so I need to deal with a person at some point and the curbside people usually have the shortest wait--totally worth the cost and the tip. |

Yes, especially if you don't have to check baggage - you can just check in, grab your boarding passes (which will be printed at the kiosk) and be on your merry way, skipping past all the lines at the check-in counters. |

i live in Australia and last time I flew...I was alone for the first time and I used Qantas' Quick Check kiosks....I got to choose my own seat and everything!
and because I had no bags to check in (only carry on), I had my boarding pass in 60 seconds and at the security line in 120 seconds! |
