Have you got a Nintendo DS or similar, like a handheld computer you can play on? Or just alot of really good books. They often put tv programmes on flights as well to watch. And try not to get too much sleep the day before so you can sleep for a while on the plane. that's a really long flight! I just did a 10 hour flight and once i'd watched a couple of films, read a bit and had meals it went really quickly. |

I've been to the Philippines twice before. To keep yourself entertained, maybe you can bring a wordsearch or a sudoku puzzle with you. If you're not interested in those kinds of things, if you have an mp3 player or iPod, you can listen to music. If you don't have an mp3 player or iPod, bring some paper and a pencil so you can draw. If drawing doesn't interest you, maybe you can just relax, enjoy the flight, and sleep. Have fun! |

take a good book to read - that you'll enjoy. try to stay away from political books(neighbors although friendly are a bit nosy) and you don't want to argue or debate for somebody you'll be spending a whole day and night with.
Also Noise Canceling Headphones. |

This is where video games, portable DVD players, and books come in handy. On a 22-hour flight to the Philippines you should bring about 6 to 12 video games to play on any system. You can bring 5 movies you really like and bring a portable DVD player and watch it on the plane. Or bring 3 your favourite books and read. |

If you ahve a laptop, bring your own movies. Bring an ipod, your own food (make sure you don't bring liquids, you have to buy them in the terminal because they won't let you on with drinks) and maybe cards. |
