Depends on the airline. Lots have special kids prices, some don't. Best to check directly with the airline you want to fly. |

kids after 2 years old cannot go in the lap. so they have to pay for a ticket it depends on the airline you may have not pay full fair but a children's fair which normally is 10% of the full adult fare. but call your airline first to make sure. |

It depends on the airline and the price. Unfortunately on most airlines and on most fares, there is no discount for anyone over 2 years of age. So they pay the same as adults. Some full fare tickets might allow for a youth fare - which will be somewhat less, but since the fares allowing for this are not the lower discounted fares, you may end up paying more than you would paying a lower full fare.
The rule generally in airlines is a seat is a seat, and if the kid needs one he/she pays for it. |

Once a child has passed his or her 2nd birthday, they have to have a ticket and their own seat. Some non-U.S/Canadian airlines fudge on that birthdate (i.e. kid turns 2 during trip) but you're past that.
To be honest, sometimes I get a discount for my kids. Often not. Very often, even without a discount, I can get a better fare for all of us without it. Example; I'll find a lower price on one airline for all of us than on another which charges me a fortune to fly, with a slightly lower fare for the kids, still coming to a higher total cost.
Do the math! Don't just look at airlines which offer reductions for children, especially with just one child. I have three and this still applies! |

No, but they pay children's price. |

Yes, it will be full fare unless the child remains in your lap in your seat for the duration of the flight. It's best to get a seat for a child that age so they can wiggle around and stand up and stretch if needed. |
