I've found that airline meals get better as flight duration increases. I had some pretty good restaurant quality meals on 13 hour U.S. to Asia flights, even in coach.

Domestic flights are another story. I don't know which is worse: the bag of peanuts, or the stench of a super-sized greasy fried fast food meal that someone sitting next to you brought on board.

NONAME
aeroplane? airplane?

waterlily750
i honestly don't think i have EVER actually enjoyed something i ate on a plane..............except, of course for those SCRUMPTIOUS honey-roasted peanuts!

uh...... NO!!!! but the drinks are pretty good!

It's not a gourmet meal from the Hilton.

But it's decent. I'd take it over my old High School's cafeteria food anyday.

Airline food has definetly gone further and improved, it's not as bad as before...

I LOVE those inflight meals served by airlines during a flight. And I've my own ways to get extra meals of assorted types. Food during flights is the most interesting thing.

Try this website www.airlinemeals.net

Trust me, it's interesting.

All depends which side of the world we are on: Aeroplane is used in the U.K and New Zealand and Australia. Airplane is used in the U.S.A.

We also refer to mathematics as maths, while Americans say: math.

All depends on which side of the Yarra you were brought up on!

As for you question - yeah, if you fly with Qantas, (Australian), then the food is really edible. Except they don't have koala on the menu!!

Cheers
