Does anyone else think airport layovers are fun? |
Only if they are less the 3 hours though. I would rather take a connecting flight rather than a straight flight because I find it so much fun! |

Me too! It's awesome knowing that I'm in another city, even if I don't have the opportunity to get out and actually see the city. Plus, I'm an aviation enthusiast so I'm able to entertain myself during a layover. It's fun to watch the planes land, seeing people with their luggage and wondering where it is that they're heading, hearing people from other countries speaking in the native tongue and anticipating arriving at my final destination. Plus, the architecure in some airports are nice to look at too. I prefer taking a connecting flight rather than a non-stop flight too. |

It depends on the airport. If it's the Las Vegas airport, YES!! |

Yes and no. Sometimes I just want to get wherever it is I'm going. Sometimes it is nice, you can stretch your legs, get some real food, do a little shopping. As long as I'm not in any kind of hurry getting somewhere, then yeah, it's fun. |

I don't mind layovers. It gives you the chance to visit the airport you are staying at until your next flight, check out the people, and relax before you take off again. |

If I'm not in a hurry to be somewhere, I will intentionally book my flight through an airport I haven't been to before. I love airports! I like to eat, shop, pee, sight see, and learn the history of each airport. |

I Hate Yahoo

I refuse to fly because I resent being treated like a terrorist by different government mandated schemes such as showing ID to board a plane, and the government's spying into what one carrys (such as on one's person and in one's luggage). |

It depends on the airport your are laying over at! Some airports are a purgatory of uncomfortable seats, dark corridors, suspect eating establishments and poorly stocked shops.
Other airports, Munich comes to mind, are thoughfully laid out with traquil well lit waiting areas, a numberous interesting restaurants serving a variety of well prepared food at a reasonable price and plenty of shops staffed by helpful employees. I spent 6 hours there and didn't mind a bit. |
