I think so if limit it to one pack... but it does depend where you are flying... some places you are not aloud to carry them at all. I'd call the company your flight is with and as just to be sure.

im here
Cigarettes yes, lighters no.

You need to have not more than 200 cigarettes for your personal use.

If you have more cigarettes than you'll have to pay extra tax on them or declare to customs and excise that you have "tobacco goods".

Yes! Otherwise why should there be smoking seats/ area aboard? Don't carry lighter or match box.

ladybug
Yes cigarettes are allowed to carry-on but you cannot bring and matches, lighters etc.

have a great trip, I'm flying tomorrow too!

Cigarettes are fines. Two packs of paper matches is alright as well. Lighters are prohibited in both checked and carryon luggage.

cigarettes are allowed to almost all destinations, lighters are forbidden, but to some destinations you are allowed to take matches with you.

Tim
One open packet or those bought in duty free with same day receipt yes. Lighters and matches no.

they are, but not lighters or matches.

Lyndsey
I don't know about cigarettes, but I know lighters aren't in most places.

kachow_now
I don't know if tobacco products are allowed, but think about it...you're not allowed to bring a lighter on board, and you're not allowed to smoke. So why bring the cigarettes? Could you leave them at home and then purchase a pack when you arrive at your destination?

snowmateus1
Flying in Europe we are told we can take cigarettes with us and one lighter TO BE CARRIED ON YOUR PERSON but not in the hold.

D
Yes, but you cant bring a lighter on.
