why not try applying at the airport itself? put a sign on your back saying "will work for food" and hopefully someone will hire you.

It really depends on the work you wish to do.

food court, usually run by HMS Host at most airports.

Gate/Ticket agent, Apply with the airline you wish to work for, make sure it is a carrier at the airport you wish to work.

Flight attendant,- you must live at the airlines hub, ex, I live in Milwaukee Midwest airlines is hubbed here. (i work for them)

Aircraft cleaner, usually contracted by another company as alot of airline work is, check with travelers aide or customer service at the airport to see what the contracted company is.

Security- www.tsa.gov. They will send you e-mails so often check and if they are hiring they will send you an e-mail to go in for a test...NOT EASY.

I hope this helps, ive done it all, seriously

I love the airport as much as the next gal

a very good website to try is www.aviationjobsearch.com and also theres a big jobs fayre happening soon which will have lots of companies from the airport there so you can see the type of thing thats on offer. Ive always had a thing with airports too and although i now fly, i did three summer seasons working on the ground at the airport and loved it. Make the move you wont regret it!

If there's a specific airline you want to work for, check with their website and if not and you want to work for ramp or passenger services, found out the name of the ground handling companies that work at those airports and then go from there.

I work at the Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada and I know that one of the ground handling companies here is Penauille Servisair and they also are located at Heathrow so check it out!

Good luck!!

Most all airports have an employment agency. The best thing to do is, pick up the phone and call the airport, and ask!

visit the airlines websites for possible vacancies.

Red
TRy visiting the airports and picking up local newspapers, theirs bound to be jobs advertised.Or sign on to agencies that are local to the airports.

Good luck

Freemason Bondi
Most airports have their own websites, and a job opportunities section.

Either that or send a request for further information to the Human Resources department.

Why don't you contact the Human Resources Dept. of your local airport, and see if they have anything open.

soldout
try asking customer service at an airport or go on an airport website, or buy a pilots outfit from a dodgy pilot and of you go ;)
