Does faking a heart attack really get you out of a ticket?

Why would faking a heart attack get you out of an airline ticket?

Oh, you probably meant "speeding ticket" instead... why did you post in Air Travel?

Oh, I think I know... I'll just keep it to myself...

uh-oh! It's Elisa!
i think that's too extreme....
and if you get caught, that'd be alot of trouble!
my dad just says he had to find a rest stop...hehehe.
and i noe some girls who cry theirselves out of it.

It might, bht the ambulance ride and hospitial exame will cost you more then the ticket ever would. (A heart attack ER checkout is about $5000) A traffic ticket (in WA) is $101.

soccerknocker199
what do you mean? no because you wouldnt be aloud on the aiorcraft if you had a heart attack so no it wouldnt. dont be stupid

katrose
It could, but they'll call the paramedics, and eventually they'll figure out that you were faking and that can get a lot more expensive than the ticket.

Also, when did anyone get a ticket in the air? This question would be better suited for 'travel, general' not 'air travel'.

Oh, and crying doesn't work. I cried once (over the fact that I was already having a bad day because my boyfriend had broken up with me and a bunch of other stuff), and the jerk had the nerve to tell me, "it's just a ticket, you don't need to cry". I wanted to deck him.

police have actually had to deal with that so many times that it even used too but no not anymore some police might still fall for it but then u would get urself in a whole bunch more trouble then just a ticket he will take u to the hospital and one they find out that ur not having one they have a right to give u a bigger bill as well im just saying. but no one in the world whos smart enough weould ever fake a heart attack in front of a police honestly i think that would not be to smart

Nope. You would need documentation from a doctor. And even then you wouldn't get your $$ back, only to reschedule for free.

Only for Larry David lmao

BONNI
Maybe, but I bet it would be cheaper to pay the ticket, than to continue your heart attack charade and have to go to the hospital. Of course a police escort there might be fun.
