don't know about flying..but it makes one cringe on the long island railroad.....
they take up a seat & a half....meaning that half of them is pushing you from your seat..and squishing you in the process!
not fun....
always have a fear that one day we'll have to use the emergency window exits...and that one will become plugged with a fat person stuck in it. |

Not at all. I am detered from flying in the U.S. because of babies on the flight. I always get stuck with one that screams for the whole trip. I would just rather stay home. |

As distasteful as the question might be to some... I really have to agree. There is absolutely nothing worse than sitting next to an extremely overweight passenger... the invariable "can I put the armrest up" question. I feel bad for them, but, heck it is almost always in their control... I don't get angry about crying babies... they aren't to blame. |

What a ridiculous question. An overweight person will more than likely try and take up less room, whereas a slim person will stretch out as if they were at home in bed. |
