as a regular on easyjet I can tell you that you are right you are not allocated a seat you just sit anywhere how ever for a little extra you can be among the first to board anything you want on board you have to pay for make sure you check in in plenty of time as check in close exact on time |

I travelled from Liverpool a few weeks ago, there was eight of us and we all sat together because you board at the same time, my only recommendation is that you book in early and as for the flight I have been on worse I found it quite comfortable. |

i have used them frequently, it is true that you have to find seats they are not allocated, the best way to try and sit togethor is to check in as soon as it opens as then you will be called to board first as they board you in groups. if you board first their is a higher chance you will get to sit with each other. Other than that easyjet is just a no frills airline that have been ok everytime i have travelled |

No real problems, it's more like a bus than traditional airline!
You don't get seat allocation but if you keep together and head for the middle(or back if no rear door loading) instead of fighting with everyone else at the front you will ber able to all sit together(3 one side, 2 on other - leave window seat free and it might not get taken!)
Take your own sarnies and drinks, on board ones are expensive! |

My main complaint with easy jet is the leg space. Its not great in most air planes but easy jet take the biscuit. I use them a couple of times a year flying to Dublin and being 6'2 its a long hour!
And just to confirm most seating is not allocated. It kinda creates a very competitive attitude to get on the planes first to get a better seat which can get very frustrating. |

We went Sleasyjet to Munich in September. Hated it. And the checkin online for £20 each person each way is a con. The blurb tells you that this will allow you to board the plane first, before the plebs. We weren't fooled but others were, and they caught the same bus to the plane (it's parked miles from the terminal so they bus you there) as we did, so their £20 extra was a con. Ryanair's nicer, cleaner, cheaper and on time. |

You are right, you get on and find seats. We traveled this summer though and there were 4 of us and we had no problem getting seats together. You will need some change to buy drinks and snacks on the plane, or buy some before you board.
Also, you board a bus to go out to the plane, so the first on that bus are the last off. Make sure to stand by the door on the bus so you can get off faster. And, they let people board the plane from the front and back of the plane. |

Its amazing how everyone seems to lose their manners when boarding these Ryanair and Easyjet flights - its a mad scramble - daft really coz there is a seat for everyone - and 3 hours isn't too bad tp be sat next to a stranger.
I use Jet2 now if possible - seats allocated at check in - no scramble and not much dearer. |

yes its true, but if you get to the airport, very early ie, 2 hours before your flight. you could end up with an "A" on your broading cards. this group are called first, then B, C
Your best bet is get to the airport early. if your flying at of Stansted, allow extra time, as the queues for Easyjet are sometime so bad.
as they are 5 of you going, you are allowed to check in 5 bags / cases, any more, you have to join another queue, pay your £5.00 extra per bag, (my cousin queued 45 mins here) go back to check-in where they will check in your extra bag (for this you can go to the front of the queue) |

You get what you pay for. You don't get allocated seats but its only 3 hours most people can be apart for this time. I have used them loads of times and have never had a case where couples arn't sitting together. You can always ask someone to swap seats. Yes the food is expensive but again hey its cheap and you don't have to eat in 3 hours we are not talking trans atlantic here.

Look at there web site for ideas. I have been to greece with them. Elderly and children were called first. You do have pay for drinks and snaks though.
We were told that we could check in before 8pm the night before as we were flying 6am.
Once that is done the rest is easy-
party time enjoy. |

Never used them but i would guess that you would have to sit where theres an available seat, it wont be too bad having to sit apart will it? Ive sen the programme on telly about Easy jet and they are not great where customer services are concerned,so good luck.x |
