they used to be really good but recently gone down hill. Dont pay for the chauffeur drive service cos its pants.

Have never flown Emirate. However, there may be some reviews on TripAdvisor http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ and Seat Guru http://www.seatguru.com/ will give seating configuration. |

I was on Emirates a long time ago, around the time when they had Airbus A310s (I'm not sure if they use them today) I was seated in Business Class, but when it comes to remembering I'm not the one. But, there is a website called www.airlinequality.com, it had some reviews and comments on Emirates, and an Emirates star ranking. I suggest you check it out. |

They are good. 777-200/300ER's are very good. Very quiet. The only problem is the food. They feed all of the Vegatarians first (And this is usually the whole of the plane) until they serve you. I fly all the time to Dubai. Are u flying to Dubai for first time? I wouldn't go to that airport. Abu Dhabi may be further away but to all the hotels uptown, it is much quicker to get through passport control and into Dubai. There is a lot of roadworks around the airport making it almost impossible to get anywhere! On the other hand, if you are staying around Downtown or Sharjah, go there. |

I have flown with Emirates to the Philippines perhaps 25 times over the past 15 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience with them.
I once landed in Dubai and had no money. I was really thirsty and went to the customer service point to see if they could help me out. They gave me a meal voucher for anything I wanted from the restaurant.
Try Seat Guru for the floor plan and seat information on a 777.

Also, make use of their foot rests - they make the flight more comfortable by miles.

I've flown Emirates There is a web site that gives seat pitches for different airlines. Their's were smaller than shown there. By the location of the lights, mine was right over the man in front, I would say seat pitch had recently been reduced. Apart from that they were pretty good. Cabin crew were fantastic. If you stop over at Dubai it has some very interesting shops. |
