Fat people suck thats why, if they made special seats for fat people they would consider it discrimination b/c they have to sit in a diffrent seat. This was like the case when a fat person was buying a plane ticket and the Air plane company made the fa guy buy 2 tickets b/c he took up two seats. and of course the fat person sued. For the most part fat people are worthless, they take up too much room, they breath heavy, they eat too much, and they usually smell. |

Some airlines make obese people buy an extra ticket - some large people just do so, or fly first class. There is a lot of discussion in that area of discrimination - and a question of how fat is fat. I'm overweight but not huge - and I fit nicely in one of the vast majority of airline seats. That said, it's very tight in very small planes (though I don't overlap into the other person's seat - I'm just personally uncomfortable, and I keep the armrest down to ensure I don't bother my seatmate.
One problem is that airline seats have become smaller through the years in an effort to squeeze as many people on a plane as possible. But it is uncomfortable.
It's not just overweight people either - a few weeks ago I was flying with a bodybuilder type - all muscle and huge shoulders. His shoulders simply did not fit in his seat area, and he pressed me against the window for the entire trip! |

I am 6'3'' and my legs don't fit can they give me a bigger seat too? |

I am small so there is always room for me regardles of the person next to me. The problem is really big when you have two very large people next to each other, or one very large and one medium, you can see them that they are not comfortable.
Too fat or too big is when you simply don't fit in the seat, weather is your legs, your bum or your shoulders. If your body parts take over the seat next to you, then you should be made to buy another ticket, not use the seat and squash the person next to you, just so you are saved from discrimination. What about the one that paid for full seat and got half, what are his/her rights? |

I know what that's like.
Yesterday, I was getting on a plane to Atlanta, sitting in First Class (Delta Silver Medallion upgrade), and then this really fat woman had the window seat, and she could barely fit in the seat. |

I doubt they truly take up "half of" your seat. Most airlines require that the armrest has to be put all the way down, and if a large person's body keeps the armrest from going all the way down (ie, so it's flat for putting your arm on), then they have to purchase a second seat.
"Special sets [sic] for fat people" are either purchasing an adjacent seat, or upgrading to business or first class. |

I once sat beside a very tall man who had his legs out in a v-shape for 12 hours on a bus. I was ready to kill him- he actually WAS taking up half of my seat/legroom. |

Airline seats are designed for the 95% of thew population that fit in them. Obese people that cannot fit into one seat, must buy a ticket for a second seat. This is not discrimination (the courts have ruled). Why should an airline provide a free second seat to an obese person? |

This country is trying too hard to be politically correct; they've got to please everyone. By advertising "FAT PEOPLE SEATING ONLY," the airline would be vulnerable to a lawsuit. |

they don't have special seats for fat people because of FIRST CLASS. If you don't like sitting crowded next to people, you gotta pay the extra to fly in comfort, not them. |

Well the way I see it is that you paid for your ticket so you could have your own seat and the area that entails. The fat guy or whatever didnt pay for any of your seat or area so why should he get to spill over you not only making you uncomfortable physically but also a very socially challenging situation when someone is on you and you have to tell them to get off or whatever |

That would sound or seems to be biased or discrimating against fat pple.
A fat pple also pay for 1 ticket like anyone else.
Its quite subjective on different type of airplanes. It should be at the discretion of the airlines ......... to interpret .... how fat is FAT . |
