Favorite airlines and worst airlines to fly with?

Depends on whether or not I'm on a budget.
I love the congenial service on British Airways, KLM, and Lufthansa.
In the states Southwest is a fav. because they have a better on-time track record, and they are usually cheaper.

Continental and American Airlines have both rubbed me the wrong way (American will not provide hotel vouchers if delayed over night; Continental will though).

On a tight budget, Intra-Europe travel, NOTHING beats RyanAir.

From working at the airport, in Milwaukee. Id say the best is Midwest Airlines. the worst is United Airlines and AirTran Airways, horrible customer service (mostly with baggage and the gate agents.)

If flying to Asia,
Don't fly any Chinese airlines -- the service all sucks. Hong Kong airlines (Cathay Pacific) and Taiwanese airlines (China Air) are great, though. Don't confuse China Air (Taiwan) with Air China (China), though. China Air rocks.
Never under any circumstances fly China Southern Airlines.

even though i fly w/Delta the most i actually think this is the worst airline because they are always delayed,cancelled, or leaving late.
now for fav airline...American since i have been able to get to places faster w/out all the delay. i use this airline when im traveling alone!

My favorite is American. As an American Airlines Advantage member, I almost always get a special welcome when I fly. Plus, I really enjoy the beverage service.

Worst... Aeroflot,

Best..I would say BMI or Czech Air. friendliest staff I have come across in along time.

my best was Emirates, i was on a 24 hour flight to australia (incl stopovers) and they were superb all the way and back. my worst is a british company called mytravel. useless. uncomfortable, grumpy staff, video and music didn't work. the list goes on and on and on.... AVOID!!!!

Best: Cathay Pacific (overall exceptional product, warm and friendly crew. Have flown them in all classes), JAL (Extremely good service, despite the old aircraft, 747-300, from Tokyo to Vancouver, but new 777-300 with new business class seats from Tokyo to Hong Kong. I have flown them in Business class.)

Worst: I really can't choose or I can't remember, I haven't had a really bad flight before.
