United and Delta are both generally really nice. I find it's either the really short flights or the big, cross-country ones where the staff are nicest. I've had the meaner people on American and Continental but haven't flown them in years so it might not be true now...

Southwest. Never had a bad experience with the flight crew.

If you asked that question to 100 people you would probably get 50 different responses. Its all based on personal experience and which flight attendents you happen to get. All the major Us airlines have there fare share of very nice and very rude attendents.

I can tell you one thing, certain Airlines like Jetblue and Southwest actually train there flight attendents to be funny and talk with passengers more then other airlines so I would have to say one of them. Other then that its simply a dice roll.

I like American, Southwest and Continental. One that I would refuse to use is United. Their customer service is awful even when its their fault.
