try to sit on an aisle seat towards the front of the aircraft as it is less bumpy.buy plenty of water in the duty free as u wont be able to take liquids more then 100ml threw security, this applys to shower gels shampoo ect unless placed in your hold luggage.buy a pair of ear plugs and some sucky sweets as for the first time your ears might pain you on the decent to your destination.try and sleep as much as you can or take something like an ipod or portable dvd player to take your mind off the flight.an 8 hr flight is quite long so u should buy some air support thights or socks this helps the circulation of your blood while your sitting for such a long period |

Have proper ID with you at all times, your not allowed to have any form of liquid with you at security as they will take it away but you are allowed to have unopened food. Dont lose your ticket! Relax, your gonna have a great time, its so much fun. You will be charged $15 for your first checked bag, $25 for the 2nd and so on and so forth. You can use electronic devices on the plane but only AFTER the flight attendant tells you after take off. YOu will have to turn off your cell phone while in the air but you can have it on and use it on the ground

take off is usually noisy, take some books with you to read or something to keep your mind occupid, i usually take some sleeping tabs with me, and ask for a window seat so i can sleep on the plan in put my head on the window with a pillow.
ware some warm cloaths, because the air conditioning on the plains usually makes it quite cold in there.
take some sweets that you can suck so your to help when your ears pop with the altitude. and take some paracetimols with you incase you get a headache. |

The taking off and landing is the worst - take something to suck for when your ears pop. And take a small dram - studies have shown it is one way to reduce your chances of dvt. Also know that flying is much safer than other ways to travel (like car) so be reassured you are going to be fine.
Have a great trip. x |

My ears never pop, but yours might. (I'm on airplanes really frequently! I have been since I was like a baby.) So bring gum or hard candy. Bring ENTERTAINMENT, because flights are boring. Bring some money for the plane-depending on your airline, they may charge for snacks. Eat BEFORE you go to the airport (because airports are just huge ripoffs), and while you're at the airport remember to go to the restroom, because airplane restrooms are coffin-sized and smelly. Also, if you have Bose headsets, they may be good. Hope this helps! |

bring some books, leave lots of time for customs, dont bring any liquids, or toenail clippers, bring ssome change to buy snacks on the plane. bring lip balm, and face wipes for afterward to freshen up a bit. bring extra clothes in your carryon. have fun! |

Take your shoes off and have a spare pair of socks with you on the plane, it gets stuffy on a long flight. When you get off the plane freshen up, get some real food inside you and have a long cup of coffee or tea to keep you going until you get to your destination. |
