Flight hand baggage - can I take a swarm of bees onto a flight in my hand baggage?
Its for my auntie in Scotland. I'm not allowed to take honey in hand baggage, and Ryanair charge for checked baggage, so solution - take honey bees with me in small hive in my shoulder bag.
How would bees cope with the flight though? I don't want to put them off making honey for her when we arrive. Additional Details Duh Man: Noooo! I can't just buy her some, cos that would be Scottish Honey! I need to give her fine WestCountry honey, from the honey farms of Exmoor. That's where I'm from, the honey farm!
Of course you can take a swarm of bees in a hive in your hand baggage.
Airlines all over the world allow it.
The bees just loooooove flying and the honey they make is soooooooo much better when they are airborne!
duh man
are you dumb or just brainless?
get off the plane buy some give it to her

Hmm, well, I suppose you could also take a few snakes, maybe an elephant or even one of those weird dung beetles. Expect to pay a premium on your weight restriction.
Good Luck.
