Flying alone soon, I'm scared, please help me not be scared.?

what an awesome adventure you're going to go on. think about when you get back and you get to brag to all your friends that you were able to fly on a plane there and back without your parents.

since you are 13, you will have someone helping you out so you don't have to worry about when to board the plane or where to go - so that should put your mind at ease.

once you get on the plane by the time it reaches 10,000 feet it will almost be time to land again since your flight is so short. it will be over in no time and for the way back, you'll be a pro already.

you'll learn a very important lesson from your trip - doing things alone for the first time is always going to be scary, but once you do complete your goal, you will be stronger and more confident for the next thing that will be waiting for you to do.

You get to fly on an airplane alone, without your parents constantly bugging you for things and how you fell and what you're thinking etc.
I wish I could fly alone. It's really awesome. Think of it as your own private airplane. All these FA to boss around. Have some fun. Ask for a coke, then ask for it to be with ice, then ask them to warm it up etc. Drive them mad. You'll be sure to have some fun. I think that they have a schedule for you at the airport, so mess it up. Go to the bathroom, for a long time then walk slow. At odd times yell OH NO I FORGOT THEM!!! when they ask what, tell them "MY TIC-TAKS! Ask to go back and get them. See the possibilities are endless.

How exciting. Did you know that statistics are that you are safer on a flight than in a car? Millions of flights every single day happen without incident. Look at it as such a great adventure now that you are such a grown up young person to be on your own. That is the perfect time for a flight too-not too long like 5 hours. Bring a book, magazine or paper to write a letter while you are sitting there. I bet you will enjoy once you are onboard. If not , ask the attendant what to do.

Ok i am 13 too and had the same probloem. The people who take care of unacompanied minors are very nice and you are never alone. You also get ur own row. The flight is also only 1:30mins and its just flying if ur still scared bring somthing to do to distract your self. Right before you bord the plane they let you call your parents

you dont have 2 worrry even if your flying alone becuase the flight attendants are reeely helpful, n u cn also try over coming your fear by keeping yourself busy .

if ur a um then when ur mom/dad check u in a flight attendent will take you to the pane and then take you to the people ur meeting at the other end and dont be scard i use to fly as a um when i was 13 im 15 now but the airline gives you free stuff every one is relly nice you get to go in the cock pit befor the plane takes off andyou get pre bording ur the first person on the plane and some times if ther relly nice they up grade u to first class

dont be worried, bring something that relaxes you and that will keep you occupied for a while. It's not scary at all youu might feel lonely but feel free totalk to the person beside you, they probably won't mind talking to you, anyway all the best.

i am 13 and i have the same problem but i have never been on a plain before so i am sacred to but my trip is four hours i am going to bring lots of magazines and stuff

The flight attendants should be made aware that you are a minor and flying alone. They're always really good about seeing to it that you are comfortable.
I'm sure they'll sit you next to someone you'll be O.K. with. And, after all it's only a 90 min. flight. Take a magazine along.

don't be scared! like everyone else said the flight attendants are super nice, and it's only an hour a 30 mins so just keep yourslef busy with reading ( try the twilight series), games, mags, etc. you'll be there in no time.
( i was reading a question of yours ( you asked it like 11 months ago, about hamtaro rainbow rescue game and theres one on ebay, i just bought one too,lol.)
