You can take them in your hand luggage on the plane with you or put them in the hold luggage-as you wish.

i work at a london airport, you can carry your digital camera and batteries in your hand luggage they are both allowed through sercurity, you can also put them in your checked luggage if you prefere.

Carry it on board, anything put in check in could be damaged by rough handling, I once got my suitcase back with tire tracks on it - or it could be stolen. Had that happen too, some perfume, and clothing was stolen out of my suitcase.

Ro
Put them in your main case. NOt your hand luggage =]

Em x
Take them on the plane with you - there isnt any restriction on cameras as they can be X rayed ok!

BIG D
Take it on board.
No probs.

Put them in your hand luggage, you probably don't want to run the risk of your camera not arriving at the same time you do. Devices with batteries get randomly checked going through security, but this is nothing to worry about.
