there's no problem with that just bring them to the airport counter and they will change that for you.

don't know about Air Canada policy, but some airlines (Skybus for ex.) will charge you for each luggage you check-in.

You will have to pay because this is one of the new ways airlines can make money from passengers. And they deserve to make some money because of the higher fuel prices and also the huge competition of the airline industry.

Depends on the Airline. I would call the airline and ask them they will answer your question. Airlines are very good at things like that. Good Luck and Miami is great this time of year. Try South Beach at night. Howevere don't take your daughter to South Beach if she is young dough, you will find a lot of toppless at the beach understand!

yes some airlines do that!
Take a small carry on to fit in the overhead compartment. I use those bags that you suck all the air out of and shrink your clothes in. Last trip, I even used just a small duffel bag for a 5 night trip.
I wouldn't pay $100 for any checked bag!

Hmmm . . . might be a peculiar thing with air Canada or with the class of tix he purchased. I've never heard of NO baggage allowed with a standard fair. Some airlines want to know how much baggage you are bringing when you get the tix, but you can change it when you go to the airport.
Best to check with the airline.
