When we went, it took 9 hours there, 8 hours back. Definitely worth it though.

If you are flying to Cancun it takes around 12.5-13hours with 1 stop.

depends on where abouts in Mexico you are going. I fly London to Mexico city every six weeks and it takes on average 10 - 11 hours there and a little bit quicker on the return route.

From London to Cancun it takes 11 hours. On the way back it takes 9 hours 25 minutes. This is assuming the flight is non-stop. I think its faster on the way back because you are flying against the rotation of the earth although that could be total rubbish.
