In your hand luggage bring hard sweets that you can suck on and chewing gum as you take of and land to help your eyes it doesn't kill your ears they just pop remember your passport :) a jumper it can be very cold on the plane in the air. Also by the way planes are one of the safest ways to travel safer then in a car bus train or boat. Also just relax if you have a tv on the back of the seat when you take of just but the headphones in they won't play film untill your in the air but just put them on they usually play relaxing music. rember to relax

If you believe there is a 93% chance that a plane crashes then your mental density alone is enough to bring it crashing to the ground like a f*cking dart.

Best solution if you are nervous/anxious about flying - go to your Dr. and tell him that you are experiencing anxiety, and get Xanax.

The chance of a plane crash is very very small, way less than even 1% when you consider how many tens of thousands of planes fly each day and how many crashes you ever hear about.

Lift off sometimes hurts peoples ears, but not often, and since you will be on an international flight (assuming you are flying from US) you will be on a large plane which has better pressure and will have even less of a chance for ear pressure. I fly lots and have only had a problem with my ears once when I had a severe sinus infection.

Put whatever you want in your luggage (use common sense), except liquids. There are rules on taking a small amount of a liquid if it is in a clear plastic bag, but easiest to put all liquids in your checked baggage.

I have flown over 20 times never had crashed. And there is not a 93 percent chance that you will get in a plane crash. Its more like a 99.99 percent chance that you WONT get in a plane crash. There is nothing to worry about airplane are safe and if anything goes wrong they can coast down to the ground for a safe landing. You can make it so your ears don't pop by chewing gum before take-off and before landing.

Planes hardly ever crash. Those people are stupid.

In your hand luggage, put some snacks, reading material, iPod, etc. Just stuff to keep yourself entertained.

As for the ears, don't worry about it. Have gum or something else to chew on just in case, if you're worried your ears will be a problem, but personally it doesn't affect me at all.

Well , whoever told you that there is 93% chance that a plane crashes is just poking fun at u or trying to scare u or they r retarded cause traveling buy plane is the safest way 2 travel and as 4 what to put in your hand luggage : gum , ipod (psp, mp3 players, you get the point right?) , books or crossword puzzles, and basically anything u like (except liquids). And yes it does hurt when u land and take of but get any kind of gum and chew it while taking of and landing.
best of luck !

lol.

whoever you have been talking to is retarded.

Fact: an average of 3600 planes fly a day. On average .02 of them have problems and have to emergency land. out of those .02 about .004 crash.

which means, about .25 planes crash a day.

that includes all planes, commercial and those flown by 14 yr olds

that is a load of *rap the statistic just when you take off eat sweets and chew on them. if the journey is long take necessitiessomething like make up wipes and things like that. It makes alot of noise when you take off and can be quite scarey for first time flyersbut just remember its normal :) its ok!! hope this helps

Just relax sweet heart, there is absolutely nothing for you to be afraid of, The flight crew are trained professionals, just listen to the instructions of the Stewardess's, and to updates given by the PIC (Pilot in Command)
I remember my first time on an Air Plane Some 40 some odd years ago in the Mid 60's When I emigrated here to the U.S from West Germany as a young child, the aircraft was a Boeing 707, It was an interesting Flight, I believe we were @ an altitude of 35,000 ft

just chill...relax bring a pack of gum for ur ears and relax

its not a big deal. yeah your ears pop and hurt some when you go up, but be chewing gum the whole time during the lift off. And, true fact, Donkeys kill more people per year on average then plane crashes. And just bring music, because it can be pretty loud and just look out the window, its really interesting to see from above the clouds. I find it hard to read on a plane. But since your going a long distance you might have personal tvs, and you pay like 5 bucks for cable or something. Have fun
