The plane ride won't be boring as long as you have atleast your mp3 player.. Other suggestions are books, word games/ puzzles, CD Player, laptop, homeowrk (if any), DVD players, video games, etc. If you have a stuffed animal, he/ she will help you out through the ride.
I sit through 5 hour long rides and never get too bored. The only bad thing is your legs start to hurt after not moving them for a while.
I'm sure you will be fine. Airport people will help you out VERY much, such as the stewardiss and then once you get of the plane there will be people waiting for you to help. They will take into consideration that you are all alone.
So don't worry, it should be fun! |

Yes it's boring. Bring something to read, and listen to mp3. Or you can just talk to passengers next to you if you are the outgoing type. |

when i was 12 i traveled by plane by myself. it was kind of freaky but it makes you feel really grown up! it was fun now that i look back on it. definitely treasure this experience.
listen to your ipod, bring pens & paper - write or draw, laptop .. just relax. |

Take along a book to read or magazine, or if you like to draw
take a tablet to draw on, or if you like to write stories. Or just
sleep (depending on how long your flight is). My daughter
flew by herself at Christmas and she took a book and
magazine but her flight was only 2 hours so she didn't
really have time to get bored. |

Bring your iPod. Keep your eyes open in the airport. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, and relax and enjoy! |

dont freak out.
i did that when i was like, 10, on a trip from hong kong to australia.
anyway, it is kind of boring, so bring along a book, or any portable video games (PSP, NDS..etc)
and they usually have movies, tv shows, music and stuff like that on board
so you wont really get bored. |

C'mon, I did that when I was 9. I'm 13 now. Anyways. Is it international? How long is it? If its like, more then an hour you WILL want to bring an MP3 Player, laptop, or something to entertain you.
Some flights have in-flight TV's/Radios, you may want to ask about that. |

Dont worry! I went on a plane alone, and I just turned a month before. Heres what happens: well 1st, you are never alone, so dont be worried about getting lost. (yes, you can go to the bathroom by urself :P)They take you around on a golf cart, and take you down stairs to a room where you wait for about 5 minutes. Then they take you to your plane and you wait for the small amount of time untill you get on. like any other plane ride, bring a book to read or something fun to do. When walking around the airport, you must have a wrist band that they give you. Its not at all scary, though it may seem like it (take it from someone whoo would never even go on a 8ft tall water slide!). Oh! And the best part is on the plane, the flight attendant gives you free headphones and a free movie!!! Dont worry!!! Its fun, and dont think you will miss your flight you wont!!! |

Make sure you bring some entertainment such as: Coloring books, A Portable Dvd Players, Crossword Puzzles, Your Ipod, A CD Player.. Also, Bring some snacks! Some of the airplane food could be nasty! Also; Have a nice trip! Don't be nervous! |

it will be ok. depending on how long the flight is they might play a movie. (bring some money b/c you have to buy the headphones) you will have a flight attendent that is in charge of you b/c you are an unacompanied minor. they have 2 or 3 magazines at your seat. there is a word search and a couple of sodukus in the magazine. they have a radio with about 12 stations- they have a wide variety of music. (but to listen to this you also have to buy the special headphones, which are 2 dollars i believe)
bring something to do or you could always sleep on the plane!
Have fun! |

A plane is a big bus with less traffic. It may be boring but if it is your first time you should try to get a window seat so that you can watch the take off and landing because it is always interesting to see the city from above.
You should also take a book or a laptop/dvd player with you (keep in mind that you will only be able to use an electronic device when they say it's ok, basically not during take off or landing).
There's no need to freak since you'll be safer in the plane than a bus anyway Good luck and good travels :) |

i wisah i coukld fly alone. Brng a small suitcase, dont check in bagage. Pack game boys, and magazines. If you have a really long flight then they might have some entertainment on the plane. |

You should be fine. If going international, remember to have your passport and declaration forms.
Also, try not to check-in luggages. Use only carry-on. It is better and less stressful.
Most flight attendants will be nice so if you have any problems they should help you out. |

Don't worry. Be alert, stay alive knowing that the airline staff and maybe even a little old lady or old grandfather type fellow, I mean to old to be of any real danger, might be one to make acquaintance.
But airlines are experienced in helping you as a teen to be at ease and safe. I have two children, 8 and 5, and I think about this kind of thing because mine live several states away and will have to travel probably some time like you are going to do.
So breathe slowly, all the way in and all the way out; this helps ease your anxiety or worry. Take a book that will keep your mind off of things, or a game. And enjoy your trip! |

...relax... share your concerns with the Flight Attendants, you'll be fine...bring something to read or a small hand held computer game or something... If it's a long flight, "they" might be showing in-flight movies... relax... |

i was first alone on a plane at age 12. you will find it
a pleasent expeience, you will be shown safety instructions,
everything done in a calm and polite fashion. you will be told
when to fasten your safety belt, when it can be unfastended.
i think you will enjoy it.i feel certain you will not find it boring. |
