You shouldn't get charged as you not over the total 60 you allowed... There is a rule (health and safety) that individual bags cannot weigh over 32kg so you should be fine

treebird
You need to ask whoever is in charge of the "allowing". The airline?

George D

no as the total allowence for your purchased tickets is 60kg so it reall doesnt matter as long as you do not exceed your 'group' allowence.

Kris
It costs you £10 for any extra kgs you take!

But it depends how many people are going tbh each person is allowed 25kg each
including hand luggage so if there is 4 people then you will have 100kg between you

desigal
ask an airline i suspect it will be more expensive but you have to calculate which one is cheaper the second might be cheaper but it depends on the rates

bill j
Check with your carrier as to what the limits are. Last time I traveled here in the states was a month ago and the limit was at 55 pounds each bag limit 2 bags. Overweight bag charge was 80 dollars for every 20 pounds over. I flew United.

No ...

simple as that. They charge you SOOO much more for that ... thats the entire reason they do it ... to rip you off !!!

clandrootor
Are you crazy? I never carry more than 10 kilos in my suitcase case and no hand luggage just passport and air ticket in pocket. Will you use all that stuff?

tonalc2
It's not about the total weight of all bags, it's about individual weight.

A lot of it has to do with what the baggage handler has to lift.

M.E.
Their rules change so fast it's impossible to tell.

A friend of mine payed extra for heavy bags when he bought his ticket, and still had to pay an extra $100 when checking in!

mikedrazehero
how about 1 bag weighing 20kg instead

follow the rules

Texblueeys
You will have to pay extra for being overweight.
